Do you believe the economy will improve over the next two years?
Do you believe the Repubs will credit the taxcuts with the recovery?

Do you believe they will praise the magic of supply side and taxcuts?

Do you think they will have a legitimate claim? Do you believe in the invisible hand of taxcuts and the free market?

How much damage do you think these taxcuts will do to our country? Not just in running up the deficit but giving new credibility to their false claims of taxcuts and jobs?

What do you think the unemployment rate will be two years from now? If it drops to 8%, do you think the Repubs will say it a miracle caused by their taxcut policies and they now have the legitimacy to cut taxes for another ten years?

Do you think any of this is likely to happen?

1. No.
Even if there is a business cycle upswing, it won't last for the most part or hit main street. Jobless recoveries are short. We need change. We can't keep outsourcing, tax cutting, and gutting government services and expect much real domestic demand.

8. Gradually. I think unemployment will be at 9.7 next month, 8.6 one year later and 7.5 a year after
that. We'll have to see if Obama can get re-elected with those numbers. It would help if he would demand an end to trickle-down economics and the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy.

13. Yes
If I didn't believe it, I would be accepting that a Republican is destined to win in 2012. I reject both premises.

Will hold off on jobs and recovery, they will use the tax cuts to fuel their anti democratic candidate commercials in 2012.
