It is really so sad that we know so little about a war that took place only 65 years ago, with many of the veterans still alive. Fact is Gay people where killed in masses during the Holocaust as well, not just Jews. Also the similarities of the Tea Party to the Nazi Party, including the fact that they both showed up during a deep economic fall.

3. That myth arose because Ernst Röhm, leader of the Brown Shirts, was gay

However, Hitler ordered the killing of the Brown Shirts in 1934 in the so-called Night of the Long Knives, because he felt that Röhm was getting too ambitious, and from then on, gays became one of the groups that the Nazis persecuted.
