FAILED AND STUPID VIEW OF HIMSELF AS A UNITER! He's delusional. His ego is going to kill us all.

Piss on him for coming to the mike and calling out US and not getting it. The problem isn't Liberals, its his ego and his delusional point of view. HE SAYS HE TAKES JOHN BOEHNER AT HIS FUCKING WORD that he doesn't want to see the government collapse. That is a sign of his fucking stupid ego-driven point of view.

Edited on Tue Dec-07-10 09:27 PM by truedelphi
The person is out for the interests of the Big Money, Big Oil, Big Insurance, Big Military point of view.

That became perfectly clear when he relied on BP itself to help him sort out the Oil Spill Catastrophe.

I would not at all be surprised that to hear that he has directed the Smithsonian to hire the lone Parisian Art Thief (from earlier this year) to install their security network.

Obama only meets with progressives when he is strong arming them to accept his BS. (like when he took the plane ride with Kucinich, and then threatened Dennis about his losing his Committee seat if not voting for the HCR bill.)

23. I didn't see the special comment but, based on reactions, KO was slamming Obama for caving...
And not fighting and sticking to principles, etc.

My point is that this perspective sounds really cool and all, and makes us feel punchy about "truth to power" and so on ... but in the end, we have not actually passed any meaningful policy the people could actually benefit from. You know, the old "purity versus pramatism" or "don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good" debate?

Acutally, Obama addressed this very point today. Now it seems KO is determined to provide a pitch perfect illustration -- http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2010/12/obama-dresses-down-sanctimonious-and-purist-progressives.php

people who are FAR MORE QUALIFIED than either of us in the economy... like a Nobel Prize winner in Economics and a former IMF Economist agree that this is a really bad idea.

You think increasing the deficit is a good idea?

Especially with something as NON STIMULATIVE as taxes for the very wealthy?

considering other posts you have made today, but for most of us, Olbermann nailed it to the wall.

Obama has let us down time after time after time, breaking most of his promises, in spirit if not always in actual fact. Even when he delivered on his promise for health care, as an example, he did not deliver what was promised and he could have. I dropped insurance for my son and I when it became a choice on whether to pay the premium and not eat or to not have insurance and eat. Now we will be required to purchase insurance under penalty of law and the affordable price offered is more outrageous than it was when I dropped it in the first place.

Obama has snatched defeat out of the very jaws of victory time and time again. And when he wins, there always seems to be a strong oder of Pyrrhic victory about the wins.

With this "compromise" Obama has just about finished digging the grave for the United States that St. Ronnie started and at an accelerated speed.

It's about fascism and how we're the last generation to see democracy. Our kids/grandkids will not.

The level of logical dissonance, and the endless stream of vapid talking points trying to push marketing and cult of personality over critical thinking, that I am seeing from some people in this site is scary to say the least.

The President made a point of saying that we could stand on principle and not serve the American people.

Whether you like it or not, the Republicans got what they wanted because they stood on principle. We may not like their principles...but they stood steadfast nevertheless. The President wants us not to hold to OUR principles as Democrats.

I don't understand it.
