Only two Dems voted for the 2003 Bush tax cut. I can at least somewhat understand spending a projected surplus in 2001 on tax cuts (this doesn't mean I AGREE). The economic environment is very different now from 2001. Mary Landrieu annoys the crap out of me almost always, but Lawrence, as usual, is wrong - or at the very least misleading.
