Did Someone From The DoD Finally Wake Up?
unhappycamper note: Since the ‘Pentagon’ (DoD? Gannett?) has ‘requested’ that I only post one paragraph from articles on Army Times, and Airforce Times, To keep in that same (new) tradition, I will also do the same for for articles on Navy Times, Marine Corps Times, stripes.com and military.com.
To read the article in the military's own words, you will need to click the link.

Read all about Fair Use here. It sure is beginning to smell like fascism.

unhappycamper summary of this article: Arsenic at 10 parts per million, Chromium at 52 parts per million, Lead at 138 parts per million, Nickel at 562 parts per million, Cobalt at 10 parts per million, Strontium at 2,700 parts per million, Tin at 8 parts per million, Vanadium at 49 parts per million, Zinc at 206 parts per million, Manganese at 352 parts per million, Barium at 463 parts per million, Aluminum at 7,521 parts per million - ain't Empire a wonderful thing?
:sarcasm:

4. Family Values
fodder unit
derogatory term for a serving member of the armed forces, used in the Bush family between Jeb & Dubya after the term was originally coined by their father George H W Bush.
Jeb: Lucky you dodged out of Vietnam in that champagne squadron bro'
Dubya:Sure, not like those dumb fodder units in Iraq.
Both:HAHAHAHAHA!
