7. SHIT!
I just bought a great big huge box of Milk-Bone dog biscuits. I looked all over the box to see if I could find out where they were actually manufactured, but saw only that they're a product of Del Monte.

When these are gone, there will be no more Milk Bones for my four pooches.

TG, looking for the recipe for home-made dog biscuits.. .. . .

25. Here you go:
http://www.bullwrinkle.com/Assets/Recipes/Milk%20Bone%20Dog%20Biscuits.htm

Homemade Dog Treat Recipe
Milk Bone Dog Biscuits
3/4 cup hot water
1/3 cup margarine
1/2 cup powdered milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
3 cups whole wheat flour

Variation: increase margarine to 1/2 cup and add 2 teaspoons sugar
In large bowl pour hot water over the margarine. Stir in powdered milk, salt, and egg. Add flour, 1/2 cup at a time. Knead for a few minutes to form stiff dough. Pat or roll to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into bone shapes. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes. Cool. They will dry out quite hard. Makes about 1 1/4 pounds of biscuits. Costs around 30 cents per pound.

And here's a page with loads of dog buscuit recipes:

9. K + R
These are the types of things we should be focusing on here, not the circular firing squad that's been set up for so long.

13. Actually what you are calling the 'circular firing squad' is in fact very related to this.
It's about the health and financial survival of the non-financial elites.

17. Sorry kctim I didn't get any info to answer that question.
Just this memo and a message at one of our union meetings giving a bit more details, but, I don't remember if they mentioned a time-frame.

20. Why? The east cost isn't like the west coast in that.....
Edited on Wed Dec-08-10 03:33 PM by Xicano
Unfortunately the ILA doesn't have contract jurisdiction up and down the cost. Many ports on the east coast are non-union. So I'm going to assume where they are planning to move to is probably non-union.

bought any Del Monte in quite a while.
