The Political iPod
The Obama Tax Compromise reminds me of the time when Steve Jobs had to take money from Microsoft to keep Apple afloat.

Bill Gates appeared on this huge monitor as an omnipresent, disembodied head looking down on Steve Jobs as he announced the news.

The crowd booed and hissed, and Jobs said "We have to let go of this notion that for Apple to win, Microsoft has to lose."

A few years later, Apple introduced the iPod and crushed Microsoft.

So the question is, what is the transcendent Democratic idea/action that can equal the iPod?

"We have to embrace a notion that for Apple to win, Apple has to do a really good job."
