She didn't feel compelled to have kids just because our society still thinks everyone "should," just like she didn't feel compelled to get married. It's not right for everyone, and I applaud those who see that clearly, realize their course in life is not structured to provide well for children, and do their own thing proudly.

On-topic, if she were a lesbian, I think she would have no problem saying so.
