"and pour resources into the A and C models of the jet" - super, when you order fewer aircraft the price of what is delivered goes up. If this keeps going, I'd expect the price of the F-35 to approach the $355 million dollar price tag of the F-22. :(

This will no doubt have an impact on the cost of the F-35B and strengthen the argument of those who want to scrap the plane and pour resources into the A and C models of the jet.
