2. I am not impressed by "facts" from this White House.

They are just trying to drum up support from Democrats. I am not convinced. Any plan that destroys the foundation of Social Security is not good in my book.

3. it looks like crap to me

a whole bunch of those tax credits and tax cuts are going to people who are above the median income. Tax cuts for the bottom 98% includes a big chunk of money going to the 90-98% group and also to the 80-90% group.

Yet, just like George Bush, Obama wants to use the bottom 40% as cover for much bigger benefits to the top 20%. I wanted taxes to go up for people with incomes over $80,000. $250,000 was sort of a compromise that I could hold my nose and live with. Not even getting that is completely unacceptable.
