DADT: Mr. Obama, withdraw your appeal now
Your preferred legislative solution has just blown up in your face.
Withdraw your appeal of the court's ruling against Don't Ask, Don't Tell now.
You can do this in a matter of minutes.
Show us that you really do want an end to this hideous, archaic policy.

2. Also, now is the time to issue an Executive Order ending DADT,
and prohibiting further discharges.

Yes, yes, I know the next repuke pres could in theory reverse it, but that will be 2-6 years form now. Times change and battles aren't always a priority to be re-fought.

The Dems in Congress failed. The ball is back to Obama.

6. But then doesn't it have to be decided by a court? I seem to recall some legal
problems if this happens as opposed to going through Congress. I don't know if that means going to the Supremes :scared: or not.

Maybe someone can clear that up for me.

8. but that wont end everything, right?
couldn't the groups that are against REPEAL take it to the friendlt SCOTUS and then repeal is back on the table? You need to do this through legislation thaat will forever end this madness.

14. If only the law was more important than needing a wedge issue in order to keep
The citizens divided then perhaps the law could prevail instead of illegal political grandstanding that requires keeping citizens on opposite sides and looking the other way while they continue to rob us blind
