While royals have no power there is one reason they might have been attacked. Taxpayer money is what pretty much supports the whole royal family. These students are being cut while I seriously doubt that the Lords and royals are taking any cuts. Just like our rich.

One of the cops looks scared for his life, which I am sure was at risk.

And what is sad, is that the real targets are not even Charles and Camila, but the people in Parliament and the Banks. I am sure those people are having the good sense to stay away.
