Question: Anyone made "chicken" pincushions?

This pattern link is the one I want to make. From reading on other sites other than the above I have learned it's made of squares or possibly triangles. I bought the fabric and am too anxious to await the arrival of the pattern! What do you think?

2. Hi Karen, I'm a Karen too. I will----found some information

by just Googling: chicken pincushions? But most of these were small made from 2 squares and log cabin pattern......if they turn out well, I'll post. I'm also considering making up my own design...that could be lots of fun....then I'd have a pattern to pass on!!

Note to self: must translate that pattern into crochet squares/triangles.
