My friend's jewelry!
I have a friend who just opened up an on-line store at etsy. I bought one of her "black dahlia" necklaces. Here is the link if you want to see her work - http://www.eLmTree.etsy.com. Does anyone else sell crafts on etsy? And do you get a good response?

1. This is very nice work
However, a problem with selling stuff to other craftsters is that we are already squeezing ourselves out of house and home with our own stuff. I signed up for etsy.com, but haven't gotten my act together to get pictures posted. I bought a lampwork bead from Morgana a couple of months ago, but haven't had the time to do anything with it yet.

2. She does fine work
I havent sold on line, as most of the stuff I make is either pre-ordered custom work or gifts for family/friends. Anything else I sell through my sister-in-law's store, I just dont have enough time to make anything else.

5. Oh that's wonderful!
She's just starting out, so that will give her a big boost of confidence! I'm so pleased! I bought one with a black dahlia and I hope I get it today!

7. I have a few things on Etsy
Edited on Tue Jul-03-07 10:51 PM by Morgana LaFey
and I've sold a couple of things but don't do a good job of keeping up to date with it so I can't tell if it WOULD be good for me or not. Your friend has some lovely things. Here's mine:

Also, as can easily be seen, I'm having a difficult time conforming to their photo size/shape requirements.

8. Oh, you make the beads AND the jewelry!
That's pretty neat, I had no idea where beads came from!
