Update on my 2 circular needle sock -- w/pix

I didn't knit much on vacation so it's not much to look at right now. Just finished the cuff and I wanted to show it off!


A bit of a close-up


I'm using 1 skein of Sockotta, 45% cotton, 40% superwash wool, 15% nylon. Not bad to work with -- it will be comfy -- but I'm a bit disappointed w/the self-striping. I think Magic Stripe or JellyBean (Lion Brand?) stripe better.

I learn how to turn the heel in tomorrow's class! :)

3. Self-striping gets thrown off by ribbing.

It should start looking nicer with the plain st.st. Personally, I love that yarn for Hubby's socks--works very well.
