My Tuscany Shawl
I finally finished this thing. Yay!

The colors are better than that. I don't know why I couldn't get a better picture that shows the lighter blue, the purple, and the grey in that. It's from Briar Rose Fibers, their Sea Pearl, just one skein. It's just the right size for a light shawl, which is what I wanted.

Other shawls out there?

3. The texture looks very silky
It's a lovely shawl. I learned to do Solomon's knots and when I find the right yarn, I'd like to make a shawl. I will have to check out that yarn.

4. It's gorgeous
I haven't tried anything like that. I'm fine with sweaters and socks and most anything else but I've been afraid to try delicate lace. But then I was afraid of socks until I got started.

Lovely work! Thanks for the inspiration.

Oh, how big is it?

6. It's not that hard.
A lot of lace is about repeats. This has a fairly simple chart with a repeat that gets easy to memorize across the row.

I forgot to measure, but I think it's around 21" long down to the V and maybe just over twice that in length at the bind off at the top.

8. Beautiful!
I put my knitting down when it got too hot - it's just about time to bring it out again and start some fun stuff for fall.

:)
