no-sew cat beds

i’ve seen these a lot on the web. so i dug around in my stash and found enough fleece to make several to donate to a local cat shelter.

mine is not nearly as colorful but critters don’t care. and they’re super easy to make since there’s no sewing.

1. That's nice & nice in what you're doing for the shelter.

I use to knit or crochet kitty blankets for the shelter when I lived in NY. They'd supply me with bags & bags of old donated yarn.

I like the fleece better. I might make one for my two & for Jack the puppy.

2. These turned out to be so easy to make

I used my cardboard accordion style cutting board to lay out the fleece and just start cutting. Sort of eyeballed the general size and then the length of the fringe. After it's all tied together you couldn't tell if some fringe is longer or shorter. It all seems to look fine and feels fairly cushy for something that isn't filled.
