Abortion clinic opens
First of all, PP is not an "Abortion clinic" When are these disgusting tools going to get a clue? And for the folks "protesting" How ignorant, cruel, and sub-human can you get? Protesting a health clinic. Many of those who go to PP have NO other place to go for reproductive health. There has to be a special place in hell for those with a forced birth mentality. They can sit with Dubya and play "top this cruelity" stories.

"Opponents in fact filed a new challenge with Aurora's zoning board of appeals, contending the clinic -- which offers abortion services -- shouldn't be open because it lacks a required special-use permit.

City officials who issued an an occupancy permit for the clinic Monday disputed claims that the $7.5 million medical center lacked proper permits, while Planned Parenthood leaders said they are in Aurora to stay.

'We're going to stay open'
"We're thrilled to call Aurora our new home," said Steve Trombley, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood/Chicago Area, drawing cheers from about 40 clinic supporters and employees.

Planned Parenthood endured weeks of protests, allegations it misled city officials about who would occupy the center and a brief federal court battle with Aurora officials. The court battle and three legal reviews delayed the clinic's opening by about two weeks."

1. What a yucky headline...
...you know who they are targeting with that headline. :eyes:

But in spite of that, I'm thrilled that PP was able to open in Aurora, IL! :bounce: There are so many women there that will benefit from their presence.

2. Unfortunately, the people who stand outside PP and harrass clients
don't give a shit about the people who need their services, or women's reproductive health for that matter.

I'm happy for the women of Aurora, though.
