Everything was fine until we installed Windows 7 - now my pictures look like crap - grainy, colors aren't true. Even got a new camera - thinking my old camera was the cause. I was talking to someone about it and they said there are actual websites you can use to upload your pics that may do a better job. Was just wondering if anyone here can recommend one.

1. I just downloaded GIMP - it's pretty cool.
Used it for one listing...I'll let you know if it's worth it after experimenting with it some more.

GIMP is a FREE. It's kinda like paintshop where you can do alot to the pics.

2. I use Auctiva
It's a 3rd party listing service, $9.99 per month to use their listing tools, which are easier/better than eBay's. They give you free image hosting.

But I think you can use Flickr or Picasa as your image hosts as well, and those are free sites.

3. I used to use Auctiva, but now use Sellersourcebook.
It's cheaper and I like it better. It's $7/month. You should check it out...I know another Ebayer who made the switch.

What I was referring to is when you take a pic with your camera and then you upload it to your pc.
That's what I am having problems with ever since we uploaded Windows 7. Picasa - haven't heard of them....will check it out tho - thanks ;)

4. oh, i see what you are asking
i have a Canon and use the Canon software that comes with the camera, ZoomBrowser, I think it's called.

I have also used Microsoft's photo uploader but don't know anything about Windows 7 yet.

Will check out the other service. I almost switched from Auctiva when they started charging a monthly fee, but I was so used to it i didn't feel like learning something new. Maybe for the new year. ;-)
