Don't like all this wild speculation and leaking.

So much for Biden and Kerry leadership in foreign policy.

I feel like I did after Biden and Dodd dropped out - kinda frustrated and not as interested.

Have a great weekend everyone - I'm going to try to be apolitical!

1. Don't worry, I think Joe will work great with Hillary
I actually think he is closer to Hillary then to Kerry, he really likes her alot. Remember too that Joe will not be all about foreign policy, he wants to be like Mondale was, a full time adviser to the president on every subject. With his 36 years in the Senate, I think that is a good role for him. And he will always tell Obama like it is.

2. well, it's not like anyone is asking me but I'm disappointed
And if Biden supported her for that job, I'm further baffled.

Bosnia sniper fire.

Kyl-Lieberman.

I really thought Biden would be pushing Holbrooke - you know, someone with actual foreign policy experience, like it or not.

I'm funny about experience that way, which is why I wanted Biden or Dodd way back when. I understand that there's a lot more to campaign skills, but for Cabinet positions, I would hope to see experience even more.

6. I don't get it - I would have been fine with Richardson for Sec of State
clearly has relevant experience, clearly gets along with and respects Obama. Didn't like some of what he said about Iraq, but because he wasn't being realistic about pace of withdrawal (saying it would go faster than possible) but at least that was an error in the direction I want!

I've heard they're considering him for Commerce - but I don't get that. Hillary would have made sense for a domestic cabinet post, but not Sec of State.

Sigh. I should just turn it all off.

9. Personally I feel like it's backwards or sideways or something.
Joe should be Sec of State and Hillary should be VP.

It will be a shame if all his relationships with foreign leaders and dignitaries goes to waste.
When the President of Georgia calls Joe up and asks him to get over there - that says alot about how he is thought of around the world.

That said - I'm sure it will all work out and Hillary will be a much better SoS than Condi.

11. I stayed away from GDP today
No matter what Obama does, there will be people raising hell. Being apolitical for a while sounds like a good idea.

12. I just went out there - and I remembered why
I put alot of those people on ignore during the primaries.

Unfortunately, I cleaned out my ignore list after the election.

Did we not just elect a Democrat to the White House?

13. I thought we did,
but I could be wrong.

I guess I get tired of the constant negativity. It seems like there are people who are always looking for something or someone to bitch about. Bush is still in the White House - they could still bitch about him!

15. Ah yes, I saw that!
I believe being disgruntled can become a bad habit and after eight years of Bush, people are conditioned to being angry and suspicious all the time! I really do understand it, I'm just tired of that frame of mind.
