Details: Following the demobilization of Colombia’s paramilitary groups 7 years ago, a Justice and Peace Law was passed that calls for the full investigation of the many killings of civilians and other crimes perpetrated by the paramilitaries, and the subsequent compensation of the victims and families of the victims of these crimes.
