If we can avoid it, there's life there's hope. Mostly bad things happen if good folks do nothing, so the best way forward is to do everything possible to avoid returning back to the loss of congress in 1994. Or even worse case scenario the fictional 1984 where corporations have taken hold. Yes we still can, yes we must. It may take time, it may take heartache but things sure will turn around.

1. A change in tone at the nat'l level would help.
Not Obama's syle, I know. Easier... and more comfy... to pretend we are a classless society.

The evidence to the contrary is now in almost comic abundance.

The question, it seems to me, is : can Obama change? From the leader he wants to be to the leader that the country needs
