4. Beats me - I was on hold forever and finally left a message...
Yesterday I spoke with someone who didn't know if the Senator would sign the letter. I will say that Specter has been a pretty reliable Dem lately.

5. I guess I'm on his email list - I berated him a few times about the health care bill,
and he sends me email - he'e my senator, and he certainly could be worse.

6. It might be a good idea
They had been talking about how the GOP was all but dead,
and look where that went. Maybe this will energize comatose Democrats.
