He was my choice in 2008. Glad he came around and did the right thing.

3. I'm glad relations between the two of them are cordial and cooperative
Obama is smart enough not to piss off Kucinich so as to avoid a possible Lefty primary challenge in 2012.

14. I'm satisfied and convinced he searched his soul.

It's difficult to argue with his final thought process and conclusions.

I'm among so many that wanted with all my heart to see us all get something so much better right away, but nothing, NOTHING good would come of President Obama's or the Dems' failure to get this passed.

It's a beginning. Good, aggressive Dems will press on in the years to come and all of us can support that.

18. Not just a handshake, but a hug ..
that's a spirit of hope in the future, healing and trust, an image of a moment I hope a lot of us can carry forward in our minds and memories for a long time.

16. This Paragraph Here...
"My decision came last Tuesday morning. There's a place where I go in the Capitol, just to kind of reflect — before I have to make very important decisions. It's in the rotunda — right next to Lincoln's statue. It's just a bench. And I went over there early Tuesday morning, about seven in the morning when the sun was just coming up, and no one else was around — there wasn't a sound in the Capitol at that moment in the morning."

Literally sent chills down my spine. Talk about coming face to face with history...

11. I believe that is a photo of Dennis' high school football team,
which he was on, despite his small stature (5'7" according to Wikipedia). If I remember right, Dennis is the one in the center of the front row. The difference in size is quite startling. He earned the respect of his teammates for his tenacity and perseverance, and let's face it . . . courage. If you look carefully, you can read the word "courage" across the bottom of the photo.

I spent quite a bit of time volunteering for the Kucinich presidential campaign in Columbus, OH in 2004, and got to see him in person several times. He is a remarkable, sincere, and thoughtful man. I find myself more often aligned with his beliefs than President Obama's, but I like and respect them both, and am glad that they listen to, and value one another. I hope they continue to cooperate – they both have a lot to offer IMHO.
