1. It appears that he ain't gonna take no shit......
Seems like he feels like he's been dealing with world leaders,
and now he's got to deal with the dimbats known as the WH press.
Big downer.

4. I'm watching..
but not getting it so much. Honestly Frenchie, he's so far above me I find the news hard to follow anymore. It's one thing after another, and it's always a BIG thing. How in the world does he keep track of what he's doing tomorrow and what he did yesterday.

He's a super human, no question about it.

I long for the good old days when all we had to do was follow the primaries, the election, and health care...when I felt I had a handle on things.

5. What is good is that the media can't keep up with him........
and that's really the only way he can get around them these days.

The faster he goes, the better for us!

count on him to be an ass.

It would have been nice if he would've asked Bush these questions.

19. What's missing: Strong Dems spreading out over the media reporting what the Prez has done.
Edited on Tue Apr-13-10 05:47 PM by Honeycombe8
It strikes me that, time after time, when the administration has done something really bitchin'....the Dems just sort of let it lie. They seem to be too busy or too meek or something to go out and sell the country on what the President just did, or did not do, that was good for the country.

Bush and Reagan people used to crowd the media with people reporting about how awesome Bush and Reagan were in doing this, or doing that.

Now, though, we see something really good go down, that is perhaps historical, and we see just a few Dems scattered throughout the media talking it up. It's almost as if they seem to think that people will automatically see it for the historical act that it is. But that's not the way it works in the real world.

What we get to see the most of are people who are against the administration who span out over the airwaves to talk the act DOWN and put it in the most negative light possible.

It's no wonder many people are unaware of all the really good things that this administration accomplished in its first 14 months.

Where have all the strong, verbal Dems gone?

20. Hopefully developing some more
policies that will keep repugs busy. You must remember back when.remember watching the Congressional hearings. You would see Shooter nod off every now and then. A lot of members would not be in attendance unless it was something Dubya wanted passed. They would hold the votes late in the night. They would make up executive orders on a whim. They would work on their computers they would not even pay attention to what any of the points in a speakers objection. They were already made up in their minds what way and how they were going to vote. Hell they were getting paid for not really doing anything. And even though the repugs say no to almost everything or try and block a vote the one thing I love is that they now must work. And Kudos to Sen. Reid because he has made sure that they have had to earn their keep. Because he will keep their ass their all day to make our point. He has been making their ass have to do like MJ used to say "got them working Day and Night" And their crazy ass have to stay until midnight and beyond just to say no.So I say this to say that strength comes in all forms. And you are right Grayson,Weiner,Wasserman-Schultz would have been good horn tooters today. But Hell we can do it too. TOOT TOOT FOR OUR PRESIDENT!!!!!!!!!!:applause: :applause: :applause:

21. Speaking of the White House Press, According to the WaPo, They Hate Robert Gibbs
and he probably hates them right back. I mean if you had to face Chuck Todd, Jake Tapper, Chip Reid and Ed Henry, known affectionately at my house as the "Four Idiots of the Apocalypse", you'd be sorely tempted to bring a taser to the daily briefing...

Anyway, here's the link to the HuffPo with the highlights or lowlights (depending on your point of view). I couldn't stomach reading the entire thing at the Washington Post site.
