5. Back in the trading bartering days
one may have been able to get an appendix removed for 4-6 chickens. Now days it would cost 5500 chickens or more. Who it heck carries around 5500 chickens? What is the Dr gonna do with 5500 chickens every time he removed an appendix? The Dr can only get his house painted so many times. Besides, the IRS recognizes 'in kind' payment that is taxable. Can the Dr pay 2500 of those chickens then to the IRS?

What about the working stiffs, stuck in accounting cubicles all day. They don't have time to paint someone elses house. They don't have chickens, they nave no bartering items or tradable skills...I guess they just get to die.
