There are 2 types of people in this world.
Edited on Thu May-27-10 11:04 AM by tranche
When the rain is coming down and the wind is lashing at any human that dares brave it -- there are those who climb to the roof and attempt to patch the leak with whatever tools and supplies they can muster. Up there in the dark and cold they try everything possible to make sure that leak gets plugged thinking only of the comfort of those inside. Then you have another; old, grey, and weathered clutching a worn out blanket and cursing those on the roof -- for they can do nothing right.

5. I'd actually add a third category:
People who are able but unwilling to fix the roof, declare any attempt to do so futile before it's tried, and are so afraid that the roof might collapse, or someone might get injured in the process, or that it might hurt someone's feelings, that they try to block anybody else from fixing it. Historically, they were called "cowards."

10. Well, if the people on the roof
were the ones who carelessly blew a hole in the roof -- ignoring safety procedures and violating regulations -- then yeah, the people cursing them are doing the right thing.

14. There are also those...
....who say they are going to fix the leaks, and sell you a glossy marketing brochure about fixing the leaks, but give all the repair money to their already rich friends instead.
