IA-Senate: Could Grassley be vulnerable? leads Conlin by single digits
KCCI polled 400 likely Democratic primary voters on the U.S. Senate race. Roxanne Conlin leads the field with 48 percent of the vote. Bob Krause has 13 percent and Tom Fiegen has 12 percent. A whopping 27 percent are still undecided. That seems ridiculously high at this point and can’t be good news for Conlin, despite her lead.

The Democratic primary results also have a margin of error of plus or minus 5 points.

Republican incumbent Sen. Charles Grassley leads all the Democratic challengers. Conlin comes the closest with 42 percent, with 50 percent for Grassley and 8 percent undecided.

1. It sure would be A-OK with me if Roxanne took that seat.
I wouldn't miss Chuck Grassley one iota.

2. whomsoever we pick next Tuesday, I am 100% behind them
And yes, Grassley is very vulnerable. The extreme righties think he is WAY too liberal and may not vote. Many Iowans are finally waking up to his bullshit.
His 'pull the plug on Grandma' statement will hound him until election day.
