4. I remember his face on election night ....
... see this video at approx the :40 mark ... it's a face I'd never seen before and not seen since, not the typical, trademark, giant Obama smile .... I suspect he was humbled and amazed ... but I've always wondered if he wasn't also thinking, "ah sh*t ... I'm screwed now!" lol

7. Thanks for that! I put it on fullscreen and watched it to the end.
To all here who are stuck on that:"There's not a dime's worth of difference between Obama and......." meme, I suggest that they think things over carefully!

13. Not at all!
All it takes is imagining President McCain and VP Palin with whatever SCOTUS nominee they'd have chosen, rather than the pic of Obama/Biden/Kagan.

14. Agree. About the 'lift' part, not the 'ridiculous' part.

11. Clio, these photo reports are just a feast. Mighty good stuff.
Thank you.

I'm struck by the fluid presence of this president. There's none of that almost-royal claustrophobia and suffocation of his predecessor. He's as comfortable in the Oval Office strategizing with power folks as he is boarding a bus in a thunderstorm to people with only one vote each as their power.

And it does seem to me that the First Lady continues to be underrated.

17. The bow tie is cracking me up.
He looks a bit nerdy in that one.
And I love the pic of our VP with Michelle and the Prez. He is like..."I am proud of you kids!". LOL
