Tim Pawlenty heads to Iowa.
Further fueling expectation that he is interested in a White House run in 2012, Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty visits Iowa, site of the nation's first presidential caucus:

But I'm sure Gov. Pawlenty is just down in Iowa on a run for sweet corn.

Politics? Perish the thought.

1. They certainly have a sterling list of potentials, don't they.
Palin, Pawlenty, Thune, Barber, hell, can Tancredo jump in, too?

:D

'Morning, saltpoint!

Yep. The GOP 2008 field was monstrous, but they're going to do even worse this time!

A pack of yahoos and ne'er-do-wells.

4. We Minnesotans say STAY STAY STAY
Phewlenty smells of the GOP way more than any of the bunch of republicans stampeding toward running for president.

Gee what a bunch of crooks and idiots.

6. No kidding. I am hoping the whole pack of
Puke hopefuls winds up slicing each other to shreds on the sidewalk.

I wouldn't miss any one of them.

5. I don't think the people in Iowa want a Pawlenty burger

He has been down there several times and has come up almost empty on the campaign donations.

14. I think it's fucking hilarious that he thinks he has a chance. Unless, of course, he's already
running for veep. Because who the hell wants to vote for a guy who let this happen?

15. I'm still having trouble seeing him as presidential
material, definitely.

Maybe he sees it differently, but he just doesn't resonate as a person of vision.

Plus that name sounds mad awkward, and can remind one only of some weird Italian-style grits or something.
