The truth conspiracy, just so you know.
Edited on Sun Oct-24-10 10:01 PM by Safetykitten
It's the media, they are putting shit out there. It's the right, they are lying. It's the gays, they are pissed. It's the banks, they are pumping money. It's you, you did not listen to what he said he would do..

Truth is that he is the last Democratic president we will see for quite a long time, and silly as it sounds, he is responsible for what he does and what he does not do. Just like the lost guy that drives up and asks you for directions, he goes right ahead and turns on the wrong road fifty feet up that you made clear to him not to take. People try to make the point that he can't correct everything. Fair enough, but he has made no attempt to even be on the right road.

His lack of anything on the banking/ponzi/epic rip-off of the nation has been basically nothing. Hell, Bush the elder even sent Keating to jail,(it took a long time) but he went. Don't look for anything in the coming two years before the 2012 election either, but look for more money to be shoveled to keep to big to fail intact.

Gay rights was and is mired in nothingness, as he took the off ramp to "this looks bad for you" ignored pleas and speed up on his choice of the guy that would open his Presidency. More tone-deafness would ensue.

The housing catastrophe to be joined soon by the commercial real estate collapse has been met with programs and promises and newer programs and promises, and will be met with more after the election. Look for more checks to be written, and your name is not on it.

A healthcare fiasco that really if you tried could not be made more of a nightmare. Playing right into the promises of healthcare companies, now we have a system so bizzare, so unequal, this "solution" will make true healthcare for all a thing never to reached in our lifetimes or maybe ever.

But he can do the stump speeches. Those we get alot of now, and when you close your eyes, you almost are convinced. But it is 2010 and now they sound insulting and raw. It never had to be this way, and if you think Obama will get anything accomplished in the next two years, maybe you should close your eyes. We are in the land of a resurgent republican machine, and if you thought the last one was bad, this one is here to stay, and becuase our President is on the wrong road and can never be blamed, take responsibility or follow through on anything, we will be at the mercy of them for years and years.

He has only himself and the people he surrounds himself to blame, no conspiracy needed.

3. You must be smokin...
Dirt weed...

If you can get your head straight enough you might notice that pure unadulterated obstructionism has placed us in this current situation despite O's attempts to right this foundering life raft.

Might I suggest you take a hike down to Mexico and go to work for a Cartel.

Yep He's the decider and has made decisions. What have you done for your country the last 2 years?

Sad. just Sad.

7. Don't know, but in about ten months it will become more obvious
we will need someone else to win in 2012. Hopefully someone will step up.

22. And he will win the general election?
Or just let liberals have a feel-good moment? If he doesn't win re-election, that doesn't bode well for his viability on the national stage.

FWIW, I voted for Kucinich in the primaries when it didn't matter in my state for the general, but when it came time to vote for someone who could win a national campaign, I made a different choice.

Edited on Sun Oct-24-10 10:37 PM by Safetykitten
You know, as much as that line gets thrown around, there was a time when the Tea baggers and the nutfuck right could of been met by strength instead of silence by our top leaders. But....well now it becomes more of a nightmare possibility as time goes on.

Becuase no one in the White House met it with strength.

So in a way, you will have that possibility.

12. Funny, above you couldn't think of anyone
Now in response to Palin: "So in a way, you will have that possibility."

Right in line with your prediction: "Truth is that he is the last Democratic president we will see for quite a long time"

I really believe the President is smarter than you and most of the people who say anything.

So you think that not meeting the palin gang and the retreads in it's infancy would not of mattered?

Smart man? Yes, of course. Is he the right guy for the insanity to come? No.

"So you think that not meeting the palin gang and the retreads in it's infancy would not of mattered?"

When was its infancy? The 2008 election? Summer 2009? When?

Did you think the corporate/media-driven RW was simply going to disappear?
