Did anyone get the impression that Lawrence O. was
taking Big Ed to task over the Blanche Lincoln loss? Ed was a strong promoter of Halter. I kind of cringed for Ed during that exchange, but maybe I misread it. Would like input of opinion.

the prospects of HCR. He, in fact, originally argued that it could not be brought up for passage on reconciliation. LO had a real bee in his "bonnet" about the whole issue and came down hard on progressives. He is still smarting over all that, I guess.

7. Really!
I did not realize that about him, but then I didn't know him as well as I know Ed, Chris, Keith, and Rachel. Thanks for that insight.
