I DO consider this serious and worthy of discussion in addition to those you mention.

No offense intended hedgehog, but it isn't like we are all preocupied with a discussion of Sarah Palin's latest tweet or other trivial topic. It is a horrendous bastardization of our civil rights in the name of security, though there is NO evidence basis that supports it. AND, it is tied to the pilfering of Federal Dollars for scanners that line the pockets of Chertoff and others. I DO consider this a topic worth discussing.
