I'm thinking about the unemployed people for one. At least they get another 13 months and hopefully things will open up on the job front.

What other option was there? To hold out and try to get the fucking senate to pass something we all know how that would turn out. I agree with the POTUS for not gambling with peoples lives while so many are hurting.

At the same time, the immediate situation had to be dealt with, and I'm glad we have somebody there who can step back for a minute and deal with a dangerous situation in its immediacy. We will have to keep struggling to deal with the longer term repercussions of these despicable Republican tactics, as always.
