Don't Ask Don't Tell Repeal, START Treaty, Dream Act should
be all that we are talking about now. Pres. Obama got a needed extension of unemployment benefits, made predictable extension of tax stasis, got an extension of an abbreviated estate tax and got a pay-roll tax break. Most of which are good things, but the focus now should be the work at hand and the President needs liberal support for all of these objectives.

2. Are we really going to spend the last few weeks of our majority
in House and Senate btiching and moaning because Obama put off the repeal of a tax break for the upper bracket. Are we really that unfocused and weak?

There is work to be done. Real change requires our effort. Stop the circular firing squad.

Stray on the phone to Senate and Congressman regarding the last three issues to be addressed! Keep the pressure on. Don't give up on these priorities!!!

4. I have done that twice. Casey and Specter. It's people like Kyl, McCain, and the
other ugly republicans that are stopping things.

6. Yes. We are that unfocused and weak.
As we read daily on DU, Obama and the Democratic Party have spent the last two years selling out the country. But instead of replacing them with a superior progressive alternative, we'll soon be facing a Republican majority in the House. What we're doing is clearly not working. We've failed.

3. Unfortunately they are dead now. Not enough votes for any now, and 2011 will have no chance. nt

9. All that should've been part of the deal instead of just unemployment.
