Who's with me? Gays serving in the military need to march in DC at Lincoln Memorial with all of us
The DADT debacle has gone far enough.
It's time for those who support repealing DADT and those who are gay serving in the military who want to show their numbers to march in DC in the cold rain and snow to show the World that our government has to change and get rid of DADT.
Perhaps additionally have those who want to get married and are gay to join in as well.
We need to make a memorable march that rivals the falling of the Berlin Wall or Martin Luther King's "I Have A Dream" speech.
It can't be done in the spring or summer when it's warm and nice. It has to be done in a blizzard where most people would want to be comfortably at home.
I can set up a web site if I have to. It really needs to be done... preferably January 1, 2011.
1. Nice thought, but unfortunately for the overwhelming majority of most Americans
this is not that big or an important enough an issue with so many just trying to get by. The reality is that I don't see it happening, especially not in the dead of winter.
