A reminder that Obama HAS done a lot of good: Chrysler to add 900 workers at Sterling Heights plant
These are jobs that would not exist had Obama not stepped in to save GM and Chrysler.

Yes... I know, I know... the jobs won't pay as much as similar jobs used to pay. The unions had to take concessions... yadda, yadda yadda.

Sorry, but you can't convince me that the folks being hired would be better off being unemployed any more than you can convince me that the 99ers would be better off losing their unemployment benefits so that the rich could also lose their tax cuts.

Chrysler Group's Sterling Heights Assembly Plant, once scheduled for closure at the end of 2012, could become Chrysler's biggest plant in terms of output -- possibly even making Alfa Romeos, Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne said today.

"I wouldn't be surprised to see an Alfa" come off the line at Sterling Heights, Marchionne said. Alfa Romeo is scheduled to return to the United States in 2012.

The Michigan plant currently makes the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger mid-size sedans, Chrysler's entries into the industry's largest segment. Rivals include the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Ford Fusion and Chevrolet Malibu.

1. ummmmm.
you did not get the memo?

No positive posts for Obama today...EVERYTHING IS OBAMA'S FAULT (not the repubs' fault).....this morning my son lost his shoes and he blamed Obama.....DU is getting crazy these days.....there is more hatred on DU for Obama than there ever was for Bush who led over 4,000 people to their deaths in Irag. Now you know why Obama attacked progressives today....good for him!

8. Good come back...
And I will also say fuck you to my neighbor who lost his unemployment insurance last week and can hardly feed his kids. Because of him Obama fought hard for a deal to help people who most need it....

We're the ones who still secretly think the President is doing a pretty decent job compared to eight years of the Texas village idiot.

3. Really, because to read most here, we'd have been better off to elect McCain/Palin ....
...and let the economy fall off a cliff.
