He admitted before he doesn't vote, so how can he call for a primary of Obama?

2. I don't care if he is a nut, all I care about is if he is on fire.
Personally, I find the guy's preachy tone a little too sanctimonious and self righteous.

He donates very generously to progressives/liberals. That moots his vote!

22. Olbermann, and MSNBC as a whole, were the unofficial Obama network in 2008.
From that sexist creep Tweety to the self righteous KO, they all had a tingling leg for Obama. Many Hillary supporters stopped watching MSNBC altogether during the primaries. I still refuse to watch it.

So, apparently the worm has turned and they are now nipping at their presidential choice? Well, finding that out is the most fun I've had today so far.

24. Yes. I remember that. I lost a lot of respect for KO during the primaries when he hinted HC ...
.... was involved in the passport-gate.

29. After listening to the crap emanating from Chrissy Matthew's lisping mouth
and the "pimping" comments from David Shuster, KO's 9 minute diatribe against Hillary for something Gerry Ferraro had said was the last straw. I stopped watching and never went back. That channel simply doesn't exist in my TV set.

Not long ago folks were lining up enmasse to protest his suspension. But today he dared to speak out and disagree with POTUS!

12. It makes me sick.
These Obama loyalists who defend him no matter what he does and constantly makes excuses for him are as bad as the Bush loyalists who defended Shrub and never once criticized him for any of his mistakes.

13. Some said that long ago. I am not a KO fan as I do NOT consider him a journalist
He is a talking head but I simply do NOT understand folks loving or hating either Stewart , KO or Maddow depending on what they think of the President. They do the same to Krugman, Maher, Schultz and Matthews. Most of these folks were huge Obama supporters but apparently according to some, they become untouchables if they disagree.

Don't need Morning Jokehead, Todd, Jansing & Co., Contessa Brewer ... don't watch the MSNBC daytime lineup nor the evening double dip of Chris Matthews.

11. keith needs to think long and hard about the ramifications of a primary
Edited on Wed Dec-08-10 01:23 AM by TheWebHead
in terms of how unprecedented it would be, how damaging it would be to the party for the overwhelmingly white faction of the Democratic base that would support it, the reality that the primary challenger would be attacking the Democratic party's first black and first minority president, and the reaction from the 90% of African Americans who support Obama. Leaving out ideological beliefs, looking at Keith's twitter feed and how he behaves on air, it is clear that he is someone who operations almost totally on emotion and rarely rational thought. Adhering to a Keith Olbermann idelogical and behavioral slice of the democratic party would assure it's terminal residence in the political wilderness.

16. Keith and a lot of posters on this forum need to think long and hard about those ramifications.
They're in for an ugly surprise if they think they're surfing a wave of "Primary Obama" fever throughout the Democratic Party. They are not.

As far as primarying Obama, go for it! The dems will be in the wilderness for generations.

KO was regularly lauded here for pointing out truths that most did not want to see. Hell, if Molly Ivins were still alive I bet this place would be on her like a pack of rabid dogs.

Followers of any of the media shouters are just that...and the same goes for BOTH sides.
