We will pay for the tax cuts for the rich
First, there's the obvious......To deal with the US debt, especially with the GOP having much more power, and.
Obama showing his "centrist" stripes, we are going to be told we have to take hits -- cutting back on spending and programs.."There's no money, so we all have to sacrifice."

Of course those sacrifice will fall on the backs of the low income and middle class in the loss of services.

But we will also be paying more directly down the road, if national finances continue to tank.

At some point taxes WILL have to be raised. Maybe not tomorrow, but the day after....And do really think the GOP and centrist Dems will limit that to the wealthy and big business?

No because that would be "bad for the economy."

Instead, everyone's taxes will get jacked up. Plis there will be hits to SS and Medicare and other programs. The rich will feel a little pinch, but the impact will have a harder effect on those in the middle and lower income classes

We.will be paying for the current gift to the rich in more ways than one.

The impact of those future tax increases will be that much worse
with continued stagnant to minimal job growth. The least they could have done was attached something to force the wealthy to pump the continued tax cut into the economy.

3. The two most over used terms for 2011 will be
"Shared Sacrifice" (like the wealthy will have to sacrifice anything), and "Austerity".

If either is used by a politician you can figure they are pulling a fast one.

4. We will pay for the tax cuts for the poor and middle class...
Since we are running a deficits greater than the combined cost of these tax cuts, that money will be borrowed and we will pay for it.
