Tick Tock
Congress failed to deal with the expiring Bush tax cuts and there is very little time until the end of the year.

President Obama's tax cut compromise is on the table and if Democrats want to move on to other issues, they need to fix whatever they can and vote ASAP.

Next on deck are DADT, the START treaty, the Defense Authorization bill, and the DREAM Act.

Tick tock.

1. Typical political strategery to pass unwanted bills
Wait until "theres no time" to have any real debate, or votes of conscience.

Bank bailouts part Deux.

2. Sure, they could run out the clock on the tax cuts deal
and let the incoming GOP House deal with the Dream Act, the repeal of DADT, and ratification of the START treaty in the new congress.

Excellent strategery! I'm sure they will fare much better in the GOP-controlled house.

:sarcasm:
