Andrea Mitchell: "This shows that they've reached a new low when they're putting
political tricks above national security" about Jim DeMint threatening to demand a full reading of the New STAERT Treaty. Good for you, Andrea! :headbang:

3. Every once in a while I'm surprised by her objectivity. I applaud her for speaking
the truth.

7. But this isn't objective.
She's giving her personal opinion. She's supposed to be a reporter, not a commentator. If you comment, you're Keith Olbermann or Fox n Friends.

15. Yeah, good point, but I guess I meant she wasn't looking at through Republican
eyes, as I get the sense she often does.

4. She had a guest on and that was the discussion -- not sure how long ago DeMint
made the threat, but this was the time for her to say that. And she may have expressed that view before, I don't know. I'm giving her the props she deserves for saying this and putting it this way (I think she said more but I didn't catch it) - she didn't have to voice that opinion at all, but she did.

10. Maybe a note to her @ MSNBC would re-enforce her to continue
to not be afraid to put the truth out there. Good for you Andrea!

16. This is a treaty, not a bill. Maybe Demint should go read the Senate rulez again.
Or maybe he could go to Michelle Bachmann's Politicial Science class seminars she is putting on next year.

Ratifying a treaty doesn't require a full reading on the floor.
