Jon Stewart just had 9/11 1st responders on
And he and they eviscerated Republicans for filibustering the aid bill for them. Stewart did a long
montage on this the other night and covered it again tonight. He also condemned the media, especially FOX
that has endlessly milked 9/11, for not covering this story at all. This was a total departure from his usual format
and I think this show will now get some coverage on the other stations. It was very powerful. All of these guys have
severe illnesses due to their work at Ground Zero.

1. And this was his last show before Christmas
He was really making a strong statement and making a point that no one else is covering,
except maybe Rachel one night.

3. and Huckabee later in the show tried to make it seem like dems were also
responsible for the law being held up. He didn't even know that it was peoposed as a stand-alone bill. Jon straightened him out but Huckabee kept saying it was the two bodies that are responsible.

5. Hucksterbe is a Republican Tool and a Shill For the "Unfair, Inaccurate and UnBalanced" Network
This is a perfect political issue for the Democratic Party and as Steward pointed out we are missing the boat. If we can't fight for this issue, on these grounds, I'm not sure what fight we are willing to fight for.

6. That was agood segment...
the men and women that went into the gates of hell need to be taken care of.

The GOP are pigs for using 9-11 for nothing moire than political patronage, leaving these people to fend on their own is criminal.
