Now It's Time For The Republicans To Overreach
To fondly (re)quote an ancient Chines proverb "There are two ways to do in your enemy. You can dig a hole and wait for him to fall in or you can perch him on top of a mountain and wait for him to fall off." President Obama is doing the latter.

What issue(s) do you think they will overreach on?

2. That's My Guess
I remember during the 96 campaign Bill Clinton had a devastating ad of Bob Dole saying " I was there. I tried to stop Medicare." referring to his time as a Kansas congresman.

Barack Obama is playing the hand he was dealt as best as he could.

All he needs is for the economy to turn around.

17. Continuing Republican fiscal policy and maintaining the Wall Street SOP
is not a recipe for economic recovery.

Throw in continuing the absurd free trade concept and we are digging deeper rather than climbing out.

4. I Respectfully Disagree But One Of Us Will Be Vindicated In The Fullness Of Time
And if you think Repubs favor extending unemployment and the Earned Income Tax Credit you must be listening to diffeent Republicans. They think the former is the dole and the latter is welfare.

6. if you didn't see Jon Stewart and Stephan Colbert Thursday night, do so.
Jon had on 9/11 first-responders who all have terrible diseases that the Republicans refuse to help. And he had a serious talk with them.

And Stephan gutted Bill O'Reilly's phony brand of Christianity.

They saved the best for their last shows of the year!

What's the consequences if they overreach again, more tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy?

13. By this time, you would think that hoping the republicans "overreach" is funny.
When have they overreached and it not worked?. Look where we are right now at this moment.

14. Obama will give them cover
GOP will do something ridiculous, then Obama will wait for liberals to protest, and then Obama will step in and look "sensible" by siding with the GOP and bashing the liberals for "playing the old partisan games."
