"The cost of the network is difficult to measure, the paper said. But the Department of Homeland Security has given 31 billion dollars in grants since 2003 to state and local governments for homeland security"

6. You think after 9/11 things or even Obama's presidency there would not be fearmongers?
Or for that matter terrorists. I'm currently living in France. Terrorists packages are being circulated not only to Government officials but also to citizens. It's happening in France, England and Germany. Every package I have delivered in my house has been open by the local post office because of a terrorist threat against my person. Am I upset? I'm on the fence. I do feel as though my privacy has been invaded and at the same time...well someone has almost died from one of those packages that was a bomb. So when these sort of measures happen. I question where I stand because although I believe in freedom for all, I still have to be cautious since I want to be alive to keep to keep up the fight.

5. That's one way to improve the job situation. It is going to take
thousands of database administrators to keep up with the ongoing deluge of mostly worthless information. (I was a data analyst for 15 years)
