Racist? 'Obama is to the Presidency as Clarence Thomas is to the Supreme Court'
Edited on Sun Jan-30-11 05:57 AM by denem
How about 'Scalia is to the Supreme Court as Obama is to the Presidency?'

Scalia is a vocal advocate for his gang of four. Thomas keeps mom.

5. False equivalency.
Thurgood Marshall told Clarence Thomas, "You're not fit to SHINE MY SHOES".

Thurgood rocked.

6. Depends.
If, for some reason, you sought to portray Obama as a hapless empty vessel just serving in a post for which he is unqualified to be the public face of someone else who pulls his strings, then race is irrelevant and the image valid. Not the way I see him at all, but I've seen similar ideas right here that place either Clinton or Rahm in the Scalia role.
