British news reports this morning that President Obama will announce his reelection campaign this week, perhaps as early as tomorrow. Corporate media are speculating that Obama may be the first candidate for office to get a billion dollars in bribes that euphemistically pass in our corrupt system as "campaign financing."

None of the mass media "journalists" we've seen running this story mentioned that there may be something wrong with this practice, but then, their job is to make it all seem to be somehow principled "democracy," since those doing the bribing have financial pull over them, and would certainly have them fired if they brought up the issue by hinting that bribery is an essential part of fixing the outcome of our elections.

So the $700 million he raised in 2008 were bribes?

Less than $30 from half of Obama voters in the last election would raise $1 billion.

Given the individual limit is more than $2,000, it's doable, not a sure thing, but doable.
