Remember that day the Rapture didn't happen? It's like that, but with Palin
Red State Reminds The World That Palin Said She’d Make A POTUS Announcement By Today

Conservative blogger Erick Erickson over at Red State is having a lot of fun with what they’re calling “P-Day.” That’s their term for the last day of September, the final day Sarah Palin has said would pass without her making an announcement one way or another about her presidential campaign.

Obviously, no announcement has come, leading to mocking by the RedState gang. Palin’s fans, to put it mildly, are not happy.

...

As my colleague Benjy Sarlin has reported, Palin doesn’t have long to make a decision — she’ll pocket veto the whole thing if she stays out much beyond Oct. 15 or so.

Nevertheless, Paliniacs were not happy with Erickson’s reminder that P-Day is upon us. From his post entitled: “BREAKING NEWS: PALIN SUPPORTERS CLAIM SHE NEVER SAID IT OR MEANT IT OR SOMETHING”...

Damn, that women can't keep a commitment to ANYTHING.

1. I'm pretty sure that Christie mulling over a run has changed her plans somewhat.
They both seem to have a strategy of jumping into the race at the last minute, to fill a vacuum of electable candidates. But there isn't room (no offense to Christie) for both of them to do this. And I think Palin can read the media well enough to understand that she can't compete at this time against Christie.

2. There's still a few rube $$$ out there to be scooped up by The Grifter.
So of course she won't declare one way or the other. She never will. It's extraordinary to occasionally visit FReeperville to read the postings by her cultists. They rationalize their way out of all common sense regarding Palin. Their latest meme, started by a few, is that the convention is likely to be brokered, and will turn to Palin. The rest think that, like the Rapture, her announcement could come any day. So she's in no rush. Still plenty of money to be vacuumed up from those she couldn't care less about.

3. I wonder about the possibility of a brokered convention
The state of Missouri did something different about their delegates for 2012 they are not going to assign the delegates to a particualar person but do something by caucus? I was wondering if this was not a way to be an important part of a brokered convention. I may be completely wrong too and it may just be business as usual I am not familar enough with the process to know for sure.
