Hank Williams, Jr. compares the President to Hitler and NOBODY on Morning Joe gives ESPN credit
for pulling his Monday Night Football theme music last night.

All Joe Scarborough could do was try to laugh it off as Willie Geist read the ESPN statement. Joe jokes about University of Alabama hat Hank Williams Jr is wearing not being an actual "Alabama" hat by saying it is a "California Angels" hat.

Scarborough also jokes that "If this is how he respects the office of the President, I'd hate to see when he gets critical" (words to that effect).

No one on his panel (amid Joe's continuous joking and laughter for the ENTIRE SEGMENT) gave ESPN and Monday Night Football credit for doing the right thing and refusing to play the Hank Williams Jr "Are You Ready for Some Football" theme song.

As they mention the final score, Joe can be heard saying "Nobody cares about that." as they go to commercial.

1. Is Disney a good company?
I've heard pretty bad stuff about them, but I'm sure I don't know the whole story.

3. I would say complex company.
And the answer you get will depend entirely upon whom you ask and what their relationship is with the Mouse. I know employees who adored working for the company. I know they provided same gender partner benefits well over a decade ago. On the other hand, the company is notorious for eating suppliers for lunch. It's okay for Disney to make a profit, but how dare their suppliers try to make a buck. I've met folks fairly decently placed in the organization who honestly have their priorities straight in terms of customer satisfaction and employee relations. On the other hand, it is run by humans and the bottom line is the bottom line. Greed seems to be a primary motivating factor. I'm not sure it's possible for it to be otherwise in a corporation that big, diverse and public.

Not while we have an economy based on consumption rather than quality of life anyway.

2. You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet!
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again … you have not yet seen America at its lowest!

The more “people” deny the constant covert and overt signs of institutional racism, the more obvious examples will rear its ugly head. Just wait until the elect gets in full swing, and heaven forbid if President Obama gets re-elected … you’ll really see the true side of many people.

4. that his how he rolls ...
and his lackies take his lead, afraid their heads will roll - literally or figuratively, if they don't dutifully follow his lead.

he laughs off this kind of stuff to mitigate it. Ride it out, until the tables are turned and something FAR LESS inflamatory is said of the republican president, at which point there will be a VERY serious lecture from the Joe crew about how the institution of the president is not being held with the regard it should be.
