Question for those monitoring the enemy, who do the propaganda bignames support in the GOP primary?
I've successfully avoided seeing or hearing the broadcasts of people like Rush, O'Reilly, Hannity, Savage, etc, for the last couple years, so I'm not aware of who they're rooting for. Obviously they'll be behind whoever gets the GOP nomination but I'm curious if you can clue me in to who they want nominated. Also the preferences of the behind the camera guys like Ailes, Murdock, and Richard Mellon Scaife (can you believe those fucks are still alive?) would be good to know too.

1. I don't know myself (can't stand listening to any of them *ugh*)
It is clear, however, that there is not one candidate currently in the race that anybody in the GOP fold is particularly enthusiastic about. All of the GOP "fantasy" candidates- Christie, Palin, Ryan, et. al- have, one by one, acknowledged that they won't be running, so.............. Like you said, they'll get behind whoever ends up being the nominee but there's no Ronald Reagan or George W. Bush that any of them are drooling over (yet). One talk show host I do listen to, Michael Smerconish (a former Republican who voted for Obama in 2008) seems to love Huntsman though, of course, he doesn't really stand a chance. He believes that Romney doesn't need to "win" the nomination, he just needs to "survive" long enough to win it by default. Not much of an endorsement of the GOP primary field.

much less a Utah Governor. Lets hope he doesn't push hard for the eventual GOP nominee and ruin his hope for sanity in his party in our eyes.

6. Maybe he'll dump the Republican Party eventually
He's way too sane for today's GOP.

5. He's all over the map ideologically (he's what I would call a true independent)
He is definitely NOT anything like Rush, Hannity, et. al. Not even close. He's actually had President Obama on his show several times for interviews and generally talks pretty favorably about him and defends him from some of his more extreme callers. Other than Alan Colmes late at night, he's probably the only talk show host we get here in Indianapolis that I can listen to.
