1. He needs a muzzle, he's all about promoting his "movement" and new book
and wouldn't let Ed say anything good about the POTUS

7. They both are used to talking over other people - not surprised
they butt heads when they're together. To be fair to them both, they're very PASSIONATE - hard to keep a cool head.

I didn't hear the entire kerfuffle, but I think Ed should have just waited and gotten his point across when Dylan wound down. It's not about THEM, and should have swallowed his pride/ego to keep the discussion going. Dylan could have dialed back, too.

Two peas in a pod. :7

17. I only caught part of it,
but Dylan tends to be a self-promoting buffoon. On his own show, his "discussions" are often just Ratigan monologues. And he always seems to be yelling breathlessly, as if viewers will mistake his loudness for real passion.

I know people accuse Ed of yelling and sometimes he does, but I personally think Ed's passion is real.

9. Ed didn't interrupt Dylan at all during his 2 minute rant/question, but once Ed
started talking Dylan kept interrupting. I don't blame Ed for shutting it down and going back to his show.

10. No. Ed let Dylan speak at length without a single interruption.
But Ed barely got three words out before Dylan interrupted. Ed called him on it and Dylan stopped -- but only through a few more words. Ed finally said, (paraphrasing) Hey, I don't need Ratigan to interrupt my time. I've got a radio show to do. (And, BTW, Ratigan was wrong on the issue, too. IMO, of course.)

13. Okay - thanks. But I still stand by my "Ed interrupts, too"
and that they're both passionate. It's what I like about them both, and what drives me crazy about them both! :)

Thanks for eyewitness report! :hi:

12. Neither do I. I turn off MSNBC during his show and Andrea Mitchell's show (just
because she's terrible at her job. She's monotone, doesn't know when to stop talking (like if she asks a question and someone starts answering, she keeps going), and she has a choppy delivery.

14. LOL! Me Too
I resort to watching The Price Is Right than Mrs. Greenspan. And I will watch the rerun of The Daily Show when it's on rather than Dylagan.

19. We think a like. What is up with Andrea Mitchell? How many years has she been on tv?
She still can't read a teleprompter.

21. Well...
she's full of botox in her face. One day she obviously couldn't read the teleprompter and she must've not known the camera was on her because she signaled to the prompter operator by taking her hands and opening her eyes wide. It was so funny. She should stick to reporting-not trying to have her own show.

1. pushes his "movement" about money out
2. trashes Obama and blames him for the current crisis
3. blames democrats as much as republicans
4. has his favorite repuke pundits on to kiss his ass

23. They kissed and made up later.
Following their very vocal scuffle after Pres. Obama’s news conference this morning, MSNBC host Ed Schultz appeared on Dylan Ratigan‘s program to break bread.

Ratigan began the segment by noting the on-air disagreement, and apologizing:

“I wanted to make sure that everyone understood that both of us are not only passionate about America and jobs, but we are friends and colleagues and have a tremendous amount to work on over the next year,” Ratigan said. “I want to apologize to the audience at noon for creating a distraction from these issues, and apologize to you, Ed.”

24. He must've gotten lots of complaints. This isn't the first time he's had to apologize for
being obnoxious. He had to apologize to Debbie Wasserman-Shultz for being so obnoxious that she couldn't get a word in edgewise. She wasn't there when he apologized, though.
